Senior-level Ground Processing Engineer

Varantec is searching for a Senior-level Ground Processing Engineer to support systems engineering, acquisition, and network services in the area of collection, mission management and mission processing.

Responsibilities include:

 

• Provide oversight of development contractors including software development and integration activities

• Interact daily with senior government and Program staff to support a variety of high-priority, high visibility activities

• Help manage technical baseline, requirements, program schedules, budget, and risks

• Conduct planning for program architecture needs including conducting technical trade studies and defining potential future architectures in the area of ground processing

• Ability to lead or participate in working groups that define CONOPs and technical implementation of new mission products into an existing baseline

 

You will work side-by-side with the other LANDMARK AOS staff comprised of System Engineers, Acquisition Engineers and Domain Engineers in the area of mission processing applications.
 

Qualifications

 

• Must possess an active TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph.

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or equivalent

• Experience with GEOINT processing, with focus on GEOINT product definition and generation

• 5+ years in support of Intelligence Community (IC)

• Experience working with Acquisition offices, either SETA or SE&I

• Familiarity with MS Office tools

• Outstanding verbal and written skills with the ability to work in a team environment and convey information with government customers and teammates

 

Desired Qualifications

• Advanced STEM degree

• Multiple years of experience with IC SETA acquisition offices

• Expert knowledge of C2S implementation

• Knowledge in ground software, space development programs, and mission operations
